Dr. Anahita Forati DAOM, L.Ac.

Dr. Anahita Forati specializes in Orthopedic Pain Management.  She is skilled in Myofacial Trigger Point Acupuncture (Dry Needling) and other techniques to treat musculo-skeletal issues such as neck, shoulder and back pain, especially with repetitive strain and computer related injuries.

Dr. Forati has also furthered her study of Integrative Cancer Care to assist patients minimize the side-effects of chemotherapy and radiation.  Her doctorate work was focused on learning what Chinese Medicine can offer to cancer patients and she went to China to observe how it was integrated with standard of care.

In her work she has pursued research projects and assisted in the design of an acupuncture study at the Alameda County Medical Center Highland Hospital campus in Oakland, CA.  She enjoys working on furthering this medicine whenever she gets a chance.

A naturally intuitive, artistic, and musical person, she enjoys artistic endeavors in her free time. She believes healthy self-expression is a fundamental aspect of healthy living.

Dr. Diane Hartenstein DAOM, L.Ac.

Dr. Diane Hartenstein specializes in pain management and women’s health. Her style ranges from gentle Japanese acupuncture techniques to musculo-skeletal oriented Myofascial Trigger Point Acupuncture (dry needling). She also utilizes herbal medicine, natural supplements, and other TCM techniques such as cupping and gua sha (scraping).

Since 2015, Dr. Hartenstein has gained over 300-hours experience during preceptorships at TCM clinics and hospitals in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Combining her experience working in American medical clinics with high-level TCM training, Dr. Hartenstein offers safe, effective ways to facilitate healing for her patients.

A native of Dallas, TX, Diane enjoys preparing colorful, locally-sourced meals, spending as much time as possible in nature, and maintaining a regular meditation and exercise practice.

Dr. Hartenstein is a licensed Acupuncturist in California and Texas, and is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
